Ceth was raised primarily in the South and Midwest of the U.S. but has been a citizen of Washington for 24 years. He received his high school diploma in Lake Stevens, Washington in 1999 and graduated with honors from Evergreen State College with a Bachelor of Arts in 2003. Ceth spent nearly a decade as a restaurant manager before returning to school. He earned his J.D. from Seattle University, where he received multiple awards including the CALI Award of Excellence in Legal Writing.
LEGAL CAREER HISTORY
Before relocating to the Tri-Cities, Ceth worked at a boutique waterfront law firm in Seattle that specialized in complex civil litigation. He also worked as a mediator for the King County Courthouse and for the King County Alternative Dispute Resolution Center. Ceth became certified as a mediator in 2018. During law school, Ceth was a founding member and later President of the Real Estate Law Association at Seattle University.
Whether cooking for his family, catching the latest comic book film or playing video games with his daughter, Ceth likes to focus on leisure and community in his spare time. Catching some sun while reading the newest fantasy/sci-fi novel sounds like a perfect Saturday. And he prefers a Sunday filled with brunch, church, and football; in that order, if he can get it.
