Lindsay J. King, Attorney at Law for Clearwater Water Law Group. Lindsay earned her Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Northern Arizona University, Flagstaff, Arizona, with a Minor in Spanish she completed abroad in San Jose, Costa Rica. She achieved her Juris Doctor at Gonzaga University School of Law graduating cum laude. Lindsay was accepted in the Accelerated Program completing law school in two years instead of the traditional three-year term. During her time at Gonzaga, she served as Student Bar Association Representative, Jessup Moot Court Captain, awarded the Pro Bono Distinction Award, worked as a Barbri Representative, and received the CALI Award in International Human Rights. She had the privilege to study International Human Rights in Florence, Italy where she received the “Best Creative Option” award during the Florence International Mediation Competition. Additionally, she worked with the Volunteer Lawyers Program helping indigent families with their cases related to Divorce and Child Custody.
Legal career history.
Lindsay began her career in the legal field as a Legal Assistant at a boutique criminal defense and estate planning firm in Flagstaff, Arizona, transitioning to Paralegal and Office Manager. She later moved to New Orleans, Louisiana where she continued to work as a Paralegal specializing in personal injury, workers compensation, and medical malpractice. As a licensed practicing attorney, she worked as an Associate Attorney at a firm specializing in estate planning and probate matters. She continues to volunteer her time to the Volunteer Lawyers Program.
Lindsay is admitted to practice law in the state of Washington. Despite having the option to take the diploma privilege in 2020 because of the pandemic, she instead sat and passed the Uniform Bar Exam.
Lindsay was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking, traveling, reading, watching Rugby, eating pizza, and spending quality time with her dog Bear.
